Make the Holidays a little brighter…
The Holiday giving board is almost empty…collectively we have helped to support 12 children from 7 families right here in Arlington.  There are a few stars left, so if you haven’t had a chance to stop by you still have a chance.  All gifts should be returned to the office wrapped with the stars attached
NO LATER THEN TUESDAY DECEMBER 10!  Have fun making someone else’s holiday a little brighter….and THANKS!
Any questions…ask Jenn!

HARDY SPIRIT WEAR!!!  Just in time for the holidays!
Kindergarten parents Sarah Evans and Bruce Macindoe have been working hard to design these beautiful 100% cotton hoodies for children and adults.  These sweatshirts will be available for purchase at Hardy events and hopefully through our website in a couple of months.  For now…if you would like to have these toasty warm fuzzies for the holidays, you must return the attached order form with your payment to the office by THIS FRIDAY DECEMBER 6.  Hoodies are $25 each and run a bit small, so order a size up…better to have room to grow!

Maxima Gift Center supports Hardy School
When making your holiday purchases this year consider shopping locally. Maxima Gift Center is hosting a “Shop Maxima” day to support Hardy PTO on Tuesday December 10th from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.  Maxima is conveniently located at 212 Mass Ave near the Capitol Theater.  Can’t make it on the 10th?  Not a problem.  Mention you want to support Hardy PTO and Maxima will contribute 5% of the sale to the Hardy PTO every day of the week.

Shop Amazon and support Hardy School
Shopping Amazon during the holiday season?  Do you want to help support the Hardy School?  You can do both at the same time.  Click on the link on before shopping and the Hardy School PTO will receive between 4% and 15% from Amazon.  There is no way to apply this promotion if you go directly to so please use the link on our home page or the link below.  The rebate comes directly from Amazon and there is no additional cost to the user.  Share the link with all of your friends and family.

Hardy Celebrates the SEASON OF LIGHT
The gate and sign were lit under the stars Monday night with Ms. DeFransisco and about 100 Hardy community members in attendance.  Ms. D gave a shout out to the “Snowflake Posse” in school on Tuesday to thank all of those who made and hung snowflakes on our beautiful gate.  If you missed the event, please feel free to make some snowflakes with your children at home to be put on the gate.  We would love to have a snowflake from each family hanging on the gate to show the pride and spirit we have as a community.

Free Money
Many companies will match your charitable donations, like any donation you make the PTO. That means that if you have contributed to the appeal, your workplace may very well match that donation. That is like getting free money for your child’s enrichment. More money means more books for the library, more events, and more equipment for teachers to use in the classroom. If 7 families get their employers to match their benefactor donation that replaces the contingency fund that PTO just used to buy the kindergarten classrooms new rugs. Check out your company’s benefit webpage or talk to your HR department.
